Jade Bird Fire "UL Recognized Witness Test Laboratory" was unveiled to speed up the international strategy of the alarm brand

In the morning of March 30th, 2018, Jade Bird Universal Fire Alarm Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Jade Bird Fire) the "UL Recognized Witness Test Laboratory" award ceremony was held in the Zhuolu production base.
Being the first national brand in the fire alarm industry to obtain UL/cUL dual certification from the United States and Canada, and also the first Chinese fire alarm product manufacturer to set up a production base in Canada, this unveiling ceremony is of great significance, symbolizing the official acceptance and entry of Jade Bird Fire to compete as a newly rising brand with other major international brands which will definitely accelerate the internationalization of Jade Bird Fire's strategic planand boost the national brand to go global.
Jade Bird Fire UL Witness Test Laboratory passed three standard witnesstest qualifications: UL 268 Smoke Detector For Fire Alarm Systems, UL 521 Heat Detectors for Fire Protective Signaling Systems, the UL 1971 Light Alarm Standard (Signaling Devices for the Hearing Impaired), covering the main field devices of Jade Bird Fire.
The professional test equipment of Jade Bird Fire's UL Witness Test Laboratory mainly consists of: a smoke box for detecting the sensitivity of a smoke detector, a temperature box for checking the alarm temperature of heat detector, and a light intensity and light distribution test setup for checking the signal alarm. Simultaneously, it alsohas climate chambers, machinery, safety regulation simulation and related detection devices and equipment for national and international standards.
Passing the UL witness test audit suggests that in the accredited laboratory, together with the testimony of the UL engineering department, the test of the approved project can be conducted, thereby the cycle of delivering samples and waiting for testingwill be greatly shortened, certification efficiency will be noticeably improved, and product quality and market competitiveness will be consequentially improved.

Dr.Hongtao Sun, Chief Engineer of Jade Bird Fire R&D department, briefly introduced the course of UL product development and laboratory construction.
